Week Diary 12

Christmas card

   December 16th, I wrote christmas cards and sent it for my host families. However, I sent it very late, so it might not arrive Minnesota by the Christmas. It's big mistake, But I thisnk it's okay because I wrote happy new year too. In addition, I wrote all my feelings. I want to tell them they are my great host families , how much I love them and full of gratitude for them. I hope my cards arrive at Minnesota safely.

Micro teaching

   December 18th I did micro teaching in my teaching class. My first dream is become immigration officer, but my second dream is become English teacher, so I take teaching class. I taught reading part. I prepared some cards and practiced reading the sentence fluently. I had enough preparation, but I was very  nervous. I respect all teacher because they did their class proudly. I think I did my best. Professor Kamimoto praised my pronunciation. I was very happy and get confidence, but I want to study English harder.

Mother and Brother

   December 20th, my mother and younger brother came to my apartment. My brother live in dormitory now, but he finished his second semester and dormitory was closed, so mother pick him up. On their way to home they came to my room. Mother bring some dishes and made soup for me. I like cooking, so I often cook some dishes and eat myself, but mother's fish is the best. I want to return to my home early.

High school's Friends

   December 21st, I went to the dinner with my high school's friends. They and I played softball together when we was a high school students. We ate green tea catechin nabe. It's healthy dishes. We had a long chat over the old days. High school days is most busy and I had many not good memories, but most enjoyable times. They and I were help each other when I was in trouble, so we can keep our friendship now. 

Eien no Zero

   Now I reading the book"eien no zero" This is very famous book. I watched it as a movie. I moved it, so I wanted to read the book. This story is about special attack corps. Eien means forever in English. Zero was the Japanese war-plane. About 70 years ago, young men were can not alive if they want to live. They devoted their lives to country. I want to know about war or special attack corps more and more.

Diary Week 11

Older friend

   December 8th is the last day for my older friend to work at Seven-Eleven. Seven-Eleven is my part-time job place. She was great worker. She was trusted from owner, store managers and all workers. I respect her. Especially, I and she going to same university and accidentally, we graduated from same high school. Therefore, we often went to dinner and talked a lot. I was very happy to choose this job and meet her. I am full of gratitude for her.

Making cookies

   December 11th is my friend Machiko Sugi's birthday, so December 9th I made chocolate cookies for her! I do not like chocolate, but she loves it very much. Especially she often ate chocolate cookies last summer in Minnesota, so I decided to make chocolate cookies for her birthday. I like cooking , so I enjoyed making cookies. In addition, I went to buy another present. I bought me's wall clock. Me is character of Moomin. She also love this character. I love the time when I make or choose something for someone's birthday.

Movie

   December 12th, I watched the movie "TIME". My most favorite American actress Amanda Seyfrid appeared this movie. In the future, people use their time as money, so weathly people can live forever, but poor people die. This is unfair world.Their growth is stop 25 year-old. Howevr in fact some of wealthy people  do not want to live forever, they tired their life because they are 100 or 200 year-old. I do not want to live this world. I learned our time is very important and I do not want to waste my time.

Talking

   December 13th, I went to dinner with Ayaka Morikawa. We love yakitori, so we went to eat it. we talked about classmates, teachers, our futures and our romances. We are very busy recently, so it is very important to relax and talked a lot. I think she was good listener and great adviser. I can be relax with her, she likes mother, older sister but she is best friend. I thisk I am very lucky to make friends with her.

Shooting Stars

   December 14th, I went to Aso because we want to watch Shooting stars. December 12th-14th was the time when we can see Geminid meteor shower. I could see a lot of shooting stars, but there was very very cold! Aso is colder than Kumamoto city. We should bring heating pad. Aso is very nice spot we watch the stars, so I want to live in Aso expect cold seasons.

Favorite goal

   We watched 5 of World Cup goals. My most favorite goal is Tim Cahill's goal Australia vs Netherlands. The reason why he kick the ball very far position from goalpost. It is very cool. I fascinated his performance.

It is very hard work for me to achieve write 8000 words. But I think I did my best. I read a lot of English books and write book review. I took a lot of pictures and do photo homework for kaigaikenshu. Every writing class, I watched some movies cm and write impression. I had never written such many words in my life. But tanks to this homework, I could improve my typing speed skills. The problem for next semester is care to use correct grammar. I didn't care use good grammar in this semester, so I want to study grammar

About my dream

I have two dreams. First, I want to be immigration officer. If possible, I want to be work at Haneda airport. In 2020, it is scheduled to be held Tokyo Olympic and Japan will greet a lot of foreigners. I want to engage in it.But it is very difficult to be it because it's national public officer. It is difficult for me to pass the exam. I intend to take officer worker course from in this September. Second dream is English teacher. I take teaching course now.

Food in Kyushu

Nagasaki is small prefecture. It is popular for had atomic bomb in 1945 August 9^th. Nagasaki is near my home town Amakusa. It takes half hours by ferry.

Nagakaki is famous for saraudan and kasutera. First, I introduce saraudon. Sara means dish in English. Udon is Japanese noodle. But saraudon is not “Japanese noodle dish”. Soup with some vegetables, pork and some seafoods on the fried Japanese noodle. It has good texture.

Next, I want to talk about kasutera (Castela). Kasutara is kinds of sponge cake. The feature of kasutera is zarame. Zarame is kinds of suger. It is grained large sugar. Very sweet. It is transmitted from Portugal in edo era. It is Japanese sweets.

vacation plan

This summer vacation, I go to Minnesota. I'm very looking forward to going to there. I'm going to stay West family's house. I contact with them at mail and FACEBOOK. They are planning a lot for me. For example they take me to lake, museum, circus water ski show and more. And they said me that I can go parade and see fireworks show. I would like to talk with them and their family. Especially, I want to play with kids.

After that, I return to my home town and will take picture for seijinshiki.

Edgar is a spy. Today he meets a woman and takes much money. But he don't know what she looks like. She call and tell him that she has long black hair, wearing a green sweater, blue jeans and a gray hat.They promise meet bus stop. However he is at a wrong bus stop and finds a woman who very similar to a spy woman. He believe she is a spy. He not doubt and he loses this work and arrested. I think doubt to someone is wrong, but it is sometimes important things.

The tickets

"Oh no! Kerry doesn't want the tickets. She's a good friend."


Appearing character is Jimmy, Jenny and Kerry. Jimmy give jenny two tickets for her birthday. He hope Jenny go to the concert with her boyfriend. However her friend Kerry said she really want to go the concert and give her the ticket. Jenny want to go with boyfriend, so she said no. After that, Jenny fall the ticket and Kerry put it. Kerry think take this ticket in lunch time. In lunch time, Jimmy see that The tickets in Kerry's purse. He doubt her and think Kerry and Jenny is bad friend. But jenny come into lunch room and Kerry take the tickets to her. Then, Jimmy think they are good friend. 
I think that we should not doubt if we don't know about it well.

Today we watched the movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Director is Matt Reeves. The main character is Caesar. He is monkey and leader of All of animals. But he is friend of human. Shrek The Third A good king is hard to find

   I had never read and watched Shrek series. But Shrek is very famous story. Shrek doesn't want to do job, so he go and try to find new king. It is very hard work.  new king's name is Artie.When he find the king and return to kingdom, someone else taken over the kingdom. His name is Charming. Charming and villains want to fight with them, but Artie has a better idea.Finally, Artie and Shrek turn against them. After this event, Artie become strong.

The Ugly Duckling

This is very famous story and I had read this story in my childhood many times. 

The ugly duckling is bullied by all birds in the lake. However he grow up and beautiful swan. The ugly duckling is the swan's child. I think if you not good for all things and don't have confidence now, in the future, you may be success. Always we should have a confidence. In addition, I think people who bullied can very kind to all things because they know pain of bully.  I think I want to kind to all the people always.

The Hundred-Food Jorney and Chocolat(Lasse Hallstrom movies)

   Today we watched two Lasse Hallstrom'S movies. The Hundred-Food Jorney and Chocolat. Chocolat is 2000's movie featuring Juliette Binoche, Judi Detch, and Johnny Depp.  The Hundred-Food Jorney featuring Helen Mirren. I have some impressive words in this movie. He is better" or "I'd like to make you an omelet" and more. The most impressive word for me is "My son is the best French chef in Europe." I don't remember correct sentence, but it is best word for me. 

Chocolat was about the power of food to make a town more vibrant.

She gets something without any efforts. I think it is not good. People working hard and get happiness. The writer of this story wants to tell us it. At first, he also runs away from fox, but the fox said him “I can help you.” Then he eaten by the fox. He was cheated by the fox. I think he should not believe the fox. I want to try to not believe someone easily.

   King Harold and Queen Mtilda live in the castle. Queen Matilta good at plays harp. However, one day, the harp was stolen. Queen Matilda is very sad. And King Harold says 500 gold pieces to the man who finds the thief.

And in the village, there is very poor couple. They don’t have enough food to eat for dinner. A husband would like to eat hamburger, but there are only potato and carrot. One day a husband knows 500 gold pieces to the man who finds the thief. Finally, he finds the thief and King and Queen invited him to dinner, but he refuses their invite. His wife waits him to make hamburger. I think it is very heartwarming story. I7m moved. They are good couple. I think in the future, if I get marry someone I want to marry with man like him. He is honest and not greedy. He is good man.

Monster in teh Box

   “This box is a mystery. What is in the box? Bobo says it is his friend. What friend?”

   Bobo is eight years old boy, but he is little for eight years. Some boys at school are bullies him. However, Bobo don’t scare because he has got white big box. It is mysterious box. The boys say open the box, but he says no. He knows it is dangerous. One boy kicks him and the box fall. In the box there is a pink, blue and yellow toy monster with eight legs, a tail and a truck. It is real monster. The boys scared and go away. It is real monster, but his best friend. In this society, there is a lot of bully. It is serious problem. Most of children who are bullied don’t have friend to help them. I think if they have friend like monster, they don’t suffer from bully.

The Mad Teacher

　　“A calm teacher is boring. But our teacher is a robot, and a robot teacher has buttons. And a mad teacher is fun!”

   Their teacher is Mr. Robson. He is a good teacher, but sometimes he is a bit boring. They are very sleepy. I understand their feeling. Some classes very boring and I’m very sleepy. I major teaching course, and if I become teacher I want to try to do not boring class. However, one day Mr. Robson is strange. Children think about why their teacher strange today. Then they found some buttons his back. One big button and three small buttons in there. There are calm, clever and raving mad buttons. They put the calm button once, but their teacher return boring teacher. They like mad teacher, so they put raving mad button. Their teacher is a robot! I think it is very interesting. Recently robot technology is developing. I guess in the future, we may see real robot teacher.

   Today we watched two movies. One is Edge of Tomorrow. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt are appeared. It is action movie. This movie made me excited. Live, die and repeat is words of this movie. They fight with something and Tom Cruise see a lot of scene that emily Blunt is dead. But it is dream.
