Writing class Response

          This writing 1 and writing 2 classes was hard for me, but I think this experience help my English life. I learned many things. For example, “fanboys”, “transition words” and more. I used these words from when I was a junior high school student, but it was wrong that how to use it.  I can learn about if I want to use “so”, I should write comma before “s” and use small “s”. I should remember it forever. Mr. Waterman gave us some paragraph and journal every week. I was hard for me to do this homework because I had never written such as many sentences. In addition, Mr. Waterman severe on the content of paragraph. I always examine the topic of paragraph. I think the paragraph 7 was good challenge for me. Topic was nuclear power. I was interested in nuclear power, but I didn’t know about it. I gathered a lot of information of it and I could increase English vocabulary rerated to it. I think I could write best paragraph. I didn’t have too easy things in this class. What too difficult for me is journal J. I must read English book and write feeling about the story. I spent a lot of time for it. Most difficult point was collecting my ideas in English. I couldn’t translate my word into English. However, reading garden 2, I could think my ideas in English a little. I didn’t have boring time in the class because I always desperately tried to don’t miss Mr. Waterman’s English. Most enjoyable class for me is correct the sentences with group. If I don’t know the answer, my friends tell me correct answer. We could help each other. I think Mr. Waterman should continue this activity. All things what I learned by writing class is very important things my English life. I enjoyed this class. Thank you for teaching me Mr. Waterman. I’m looking forward to seeing you again. 

Reading Garden Number2

            I read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. It published by penguin young readers. The reason why I choose this book, I have heard the title and I knew this story is very famous, but I had never heard and read this story. The main character is Ebenezer Scrooge. He is very stingy man. He don’t like eating good food or drinking nice drinks, so he especially hated Christmas. One night, he had a surprise visit. His old friend Jacob Marley walked through his door, but Marley should have had died. “I’m a ghost.” said Marley. “I’m unhappy now because I was a bad to people when I was alive, and I want to help you not to be unhappy like me when you die. You’ll be visited by three more ghosts.” Marley said and disappeared. First ghost is the ghost of Christmas past. He shows Scrooge his past. Second ghost is ghost of presents. He shows poor nice family to spend Christmas day. Last ghost is the ghost of Christmas yet to come. He shows bad future of Scrooge. He was shocked very much, so he tried to change his mind. He pays more money to his men tries to help his poor family. He enjoys eating good food and drinking nice drink in Christmas. What I like about this story is he knows his bad point and he became to change his action. As a result, he could be happy. What I don’t like about it is at first Scrooge was so stingy. I didn’t like his character. I recommend it to people who want to change their mindfirst because I think Scrooge’s succeed give them courage to change their mind. Next, I read Rumpelstiltskin by Audrey Mcllvain. It published by penguin young reader. Once upon a time there was a miller. He has a beautiful daughter. One day king passing and saw her and he liked her.  Miller told a lie “She can turn straw into gold.” King believes it and brings her to castle. Of course she doesn’t know how to make gold from straw. The king said “If you can’t your father die.” She was crying. Then tiny strange man appeared. He had long, pointed ears and a long, pointed nose. He said that he can turn straw into gold, but instead of it, he made a demand that when she marries the king, and she are queen, she will give him her first baby. She promises it. Few years late, she has a baby between the king. She forgets the promise. One day, suddenly that tiny man appeared and said “You can keep the baby if you can tell me my name.” she can’t answer. He gave her three days to find his name. He sent all the men in the castle to find the name. That night, one of the men saw the tiny man in the forest. He singing “ Rumpelstiltskin is my name,” the man from the castle can get his name and tell the queen. When tiny man visited to her again, she can answer his name, so she protects her child. Queen won the game. The reason why I choose this book, I’m interested in the picture of the cover. It is picture of Rumpelstiltskin. What I like about this story is finally, the queen won Rumpelstiltskin. What I don’t like it is the queen having married with the king. She knows that she take her first child by Rumpelstiltskin, and the king like her because he believe she can turn straw into gold. I don’t know why she married with him. I recommend it to the women. A lie changes a woman’s life. Woman changed their life by man. I feel very sorry her, but I think every women wonder why she married with the king same as me.
