I celebrated retirement of club activities with our teammates, coach and parents. We had a barbecue and softball game, we graduates versus parents or younger teammates in playground. Unfortunately, that day the rain was very heavy, so we pitched a tent and had a barbecue, but fortunately, it turned out fine in the afternoon. We can enjoy playing softball. Last, our younger teammaes gave us mug, handmade album and message. It became one of my treasures. I like celebrate with my friends, because it is happier than by myself. They sometimes give me some presents or special performance, for example does magic tricks or sing a song. It makes me so happy!! I prefer celebrate at someone's home to go out someplace. I have two reasons. First, we can decorate the room. Decorated room makes our spirits high. Second, we can eat various delicious foods by home delivery service. Of course, we can enjoy cooking or handmade food. At someone's home, we can enjoy more freely. I usually go to celebrate at grilled meat store or have a barbecue, because almost of my friends like grilled meat. I would like to celebrate more events. For instance, I want to celebrate the finish of exam, because I always want to get high grade, so I study very hard before the exam. It is very heavy days for me; therefore I want to have a no study day and give a reward for my nice effort. I don't think celebration is a waste of time. I think celebration not only make us happy, but also raise the morale of us. This is why; I think this time need for our life. From now on, I want to celebrate many events too, so I try to make an effort everyday.

               One of my favorite food is koppamoti. That's because sweet and simple taste are very good and it's taste and smell remainds me of my childhood. Koppamoti is traditional food in my hometown Amakusa. Koppa means dried sweet potato, and koppamati made of koppa and glutinous rice. We usually eat it the end of the year and New Year's Day, but many stores sell it all year around, so we can buy it anytime. In my home, my grandfather and grandmother start to make it from the middle of December. My parents, brothers and I are looking forward to eating it. I would like to introduce a recipe of koppamoti. First of all, steam slices sweet potato and hang it on the string of straw to dry. It is koppa. After about two weeks, mix and knead koppa, sugar and glutinous rice. Last, pack it in the box and make shape. The recipe is very simple, but I can't make it. I don't have enough time and machine that mix and knead the ingredient. I want to become make it, because homemade koppamoti is better than selling one. My best way to eat is toast it by toaster or flying pan. This way make it's outside crisp and inside smooth. A burn is very tasty. My favorite place to eat is my home. I live alone now, so I always have meal alone. It is very lonely. However, in my home, I have meal surrounded by my grandfather, grandmother, parents and brothers. In addition, grandmother and mother make a delicious meal. We can enjoy talking and laugh loudly. It is very happy time for me. I'm looking forward to eating koppamoti with my family.
