Dear host family
Hello! I’m Nodoka. I’m
nineteen years old. First, want to tell you about myself. I am a sophomore. I like
sports very much and I especially like baseball. When I was a high school
student, I belonged to the softball club. I’m enjoyed play it. However, I don’t
play it now. My university has a softball club, but it is very high level for
me, so I didn’t belong it. If I have a chance to play, I want to enjoy it. I have
many favorite foods. Such as hashed rice, soba, octopus fritters, okonomiyaki
and others. The foods I don’t like are shellfish, crab, shrimp, miso, raw fish
and chocolate. Next, I want to introduce about my hometown Amakusa city.
Amakusa city belongs to Kumamoto prefecture. It is surrounded by seas, so you
can eat flesh seafoods and see a wild dolphin. I have seen one before. Amakusa
city is famous for chicken. It called “Amakusa the great” this chicken is
bigger than other chickens. In addition, Amakusa has a strange story about a
big octopus. When I go to your home, I want to tell you about it. Please look forward
it. Finally I want to ask you some questions. What is climate of your place? Warm?
Cold? Is there much rain? Is there a person in your family or your neighbors,
who is my generation? I want to make friends with them. Is there a professional
baseball ground near your house? If there is one, will you take me to see them?
I want to watch a baseball game. Can you understand me? I’m not good at speaking
English, but I want to talk with you a lot. Thank you for reading. I’m looking forward
to see you.
From nodoka
