Frog and Toad Together

asked Frog. “Beccause,” wailed Toad, “running after my list is not one of the things that I wrote on my list of things to do!”

           Frog and Toad Together is famous story written by Arnold Lobel. I learned about Frog and Toad story when I was a second year student.

             I think most interesting thing of their story is their thinking is not formal. For example, in the story of “A list”, the list blew high up into the air, but Toad didn’t run and catch it. Because running and catch the list is not one of the things that he wrote. I think it is very strange. One of the strange things is in a story of “cookies”. Toad made a lot of cookies. It was very delicious, so Toad and Frog couldn’t stop eating. First, they putted cookies in a box and tied some string. Finally, they gave cookies to bird. I think they only to putted up a little. I don’t come to mind their idea. They are very interesting.

Mouse Soup

        “This soup will not taste good. It has no stories in it. Mouse soup must be mixed with soup to make it taste really good.

          I think this story is very terrible story because mouse caught by weasel and weasel going to make mouse soup. However this mouse is clever. Mouse tell weasel to four stories. Weasel believed these stories and did. When mouse caught by weasel, he was very calm and had a good behavior. Conversely, when weasel caught the mouse, he didn’t calm because he had a chance to eat something. Finally, he had a mistake. I think weasel should be calmer. I want to follow mouse’s example.

Last weekend

    Last sturdy, I went to watch my youngest brother's baseball game at Suizenji baseball park. My brother is 3th junior high school student. he is ace pitcher of his club. However he wasn't starting pitcher then. First, his position is short stop, but later, he changed to pitcher. He couldn't do nice pitching, so his team lose. I'm very sad because I believed his winning.

One of Kumamoto's famous foods is  taipi-en. Taipi-en is like chinese noodle, but it is more healthy than chinese noodle. Kumamoto has strange food. It is basasi and karasirenkon. Basasi means horse's raw meat in English. Karasirenkon means m Karasirenkon Ueki-machi is famous for watermelon. Kumamoto's popular sweets is ikinaridango. Sweet potato and sweetened beans paste in dango.

Stories of Witches

This is very famous story. Most people had listened the title or the story. Most people had listened the title or the story. Of course I have read this story, but I forget some parts of the story. I think little red riding hood and bad wolf is alike. They become unhappy after they do bad manners. Little red riding hood promised with her mother that keep to path and don’t talk to wolves, but she talk to wolf, so she eat by wolf. On the other hand, wolf eat little red riding hood and his grandmother, so finally, he rattled the stone inside him. I think if we do bad manner, it’s all return ourselves.

My hopes and fears

　　　 I will leave for Minnesota in July. It is my first time abroad. In Minnesota, I want to try to speak with many people. I want to understand Minnesota’s culture such as famous foods, famous places or typicality everyday life. I want to make friends with people who various ages and tell them my hometown, family and more. In Minnesota, I want to go to lake or famous places. I want to enjoy talking, go shopping and cooking with my host family. I have some fears about this abroad. First, I don’t have enough vocabulary to speak English, so I worry about whether I communicate with people. Second, I don’t know about Minnesota and American culture well, so I worry about do bad manner. Next, I’m shy, so I worry about communicate with many people positively. Then, I have travel sickness, so I’m afraid of if me and host family or friends, go to driving or faraway, I whether I keep good condition. Finally, I’m afraid of what preparation should I do in order to having fun and good abroad.
